Gladio Mori plays as a physics-driven gladiator duel where the damage model replaces the health bar. Every strike lands on a body part, and the fight changes as muscles, arteries, organs and limbs take damage.

The damage model in practice

There is no health bar to drain. A damaged muscle weakens the strikes thrown with that limb, a severed artery starts a bleed-out, and a pierced vital organ ends the fight on the spot. Those three outcomes are the published rules.

Hands, arms and legs can all be cut off. Lose a hand and anything it held goes with it, which turns disarming into a physical outcome rather than a status effect, and lose a leg and the rest of the fight becomes considerably more complicated.

Weapons, armour and the physics layer

The listing names 34 weapons and three shields, from a gladius or spear to a kanabo, halberd or guandao, and characters have two hands while they last. Blades cut along their sharpened edge, so the angle of every strike matters.

Weapon classPublished behaviour
BladesCut along the sharpened edge
BluntBreak bones and stagger
ShieldsCover where they are held
ArmourStops attacks only where it covers
FistsCounted as an option, in the listing's own joke

Armour does not reduce damage globally. It stops attacks where it covers the body, and every gap remains a target.

Attacks are assembled rather than unlocked. Set the stance, position the limbs, adjust the timing and save the move, then chain individual moves into a complete moveset that goes straight into a fight.

Players who do not want to build from scratch can browse the community gallery, equip a complete moveset made by another player, or combine individual moves into their own style.

How to mod and share skins

The modding route published on the listing is visual. The in-game skin editor lets a player paint and draw directly onto a character, and PC players can download the skin template to edit it in any image editor.

Finished skins are shared through mod.io, and players can also choose a skin created by another player. That is the whole of the published mod support: skins through mod.io, with no published tooling for gameplay changes.

Arenas, cross-play and the modes

The store text names a solo campaign and online arenas for up to four players, with cross-play between Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PvP, Online PvP, Shared/Split Screen PvP and Cross-Platform Multiplayer are all tagged.

No arena list, match rules or ranking system is published, so the competitive structure cannot be mapped from the store page.

What is not published

No weapon stats, no damage numbers, no arena names and no mod installation guide beyond the mod.io skin route. The published feature set stops at the systems the store text names.

Where to go next

The beginner route is on New Player Guide, the platform facts are on Setups, and the condensed numbers are on the Cheat Sheet.

FAQ

  1. How does damage work?

Damage is applied to the body part that is hit: muscles weaken strikes, severed arteries bleed out, and pierced vitals end a fight.

  2. How many weapons are there?

The listing names 34 weapons and three shields, including a gladius, spear, kanabo, halberd and guandao.

  3. How do you make a moveset?

Set the stance, position the limbs, adjust timing, save the move, then chain moves into a moveset.

  4. Can you use other players’ creations?

Yes. The community gallery lets you equip a complete moveset made by another player.

  5. How do you share a skin?

Paint it in the in-game skin editor, then share it through mod.io, or download the skin template and edit it on PC.
