About The Crimson Hunt

What the official store listing says about The Crimson Hunt — quoted facts, not our opinion.

The premise is a rescue: Victoria, a vampire hunter working in the shadows, is sent to infiltrate a secluded Victorian mansion deep in the woods and free a young woman named Eleanor, kidnapped by an ancient vampire who has awakened once more. She arrives to find the mansion is a sanctuary of darkness infested with vampires, ghouls and bloodthirsty creatures, and Eleanor, weakened but determined, escapes her cell and forms a fragile alliance with her.

The listing frames survival around scarcity: ammunition is limited, healing is scarce, light is vital and every item counts. Combat is third-person, facing grotesque and unpredictable creatures with a combination of weapons and tools, while progression runs through environmental and mechanical puzzles solved by observation, logic and exploration. The whole journey is described as playable with a second player in local split-screen co-op.

It is a Windows-only release with 16 screenshots, 1 trailer named Gameplay Trailer and 19 Steam achievements, of which only 10 names are published. The listing carries a demo as app 4662870, no DLC entry, two content descriptor flags with a developer note about kidnapping, violence, moderate bloodshed and mutilation, and ratings of 16 under DEJUS and 18 under the German scheme.
